WillyNoir (Ylian Wiegers) (NL, Amsterdam) is a professional Afro Artist/ Dancer/Teacher and DJ since 2013 and traveled a lot to share his experiences around the world.
With his Brazilian mother as a dancer and a father as a musician, the love for dance and music has been in WillyNoir’s life since the baby years. WillyNoir always had been a big fan of Michael Jackson since his childhood, and he grew up with the rhythm of Hiphop, R & B, Soul and House. Besides Michael Jackson, Ylian also had a great love for his own culture and grewed up with the drums of the Afro Brazilian scene.
With time, WillyNoir has gone into the Afrohouse Scene, And learned of different AfroHouse pioneers around the world from the African Diaspora. AfroHouse is a music and dance genre that is mostly practiced in Angola and South Africa. The “music” emerged “first” in “south Africa” in the early 90's thanks to “house music”. However South Africans had not yet associated afro house music with special dancing steps as Angolans did. The AfroHouse culture is a big movement around the world, you hear it in clubs and festivals and everyone dances and vibes with it. WillyNoir is currently active as a Afrohouse Artist / Dancer / Teacher /DJ and released numerous of AfroHouse Dance hits through the years and had preformed on a lot of stages throughout the world.
