Festival

The paid program line-up is complete!

With new additions such as Die Nerven, Zsá Zsá and Lena& Linus, our paid program is now complete. After their energetic show at c/o pop 2019, we really had to invite Die Nerven again, Zsá Zsá with their hits “okay”, “Ärger” and “Bestie” were a given for us from the first time we heard them, and Lena& Linus with their indiepop coming-of-age debut may also be just the thing for you. We've already released Alli Neumann, PA69 and Jassin, right? Announced a while ago, but still hot to listen to: Nils Keppel, Kapa Tult, futurebae, THÉA, Yaeger, lucidbeat, Emma Rose, Boko Yout, skuth, Astral Bakers and eat-girls. Have they all got their tickets yet? It's about time, the festival starts next month.

Tips for the For-Free program

As always, the festival weekend is dominated by our For-Free program. Here are a few quick tips: If you like Ikkimel, you should definitely listen to Vicky! The all-female quartet from The Red Flags could be described as pretty much the opposite. Listening tip! Then we'd like to recommend Valentino Vivace from Switzerland: his Italo disco indie pop with a French touch and vintage synths is simply amazing! Just like the Eurodance trance sound of Sarah4k from Bremen and of course the entire Dortmund crew from PATINA RECORDS, the “coolest rap crew in the EU West”. Have you ever heard of Brudi the Lux or VIKET? Brudi is a rapper from Brussels and VIKET is a producer from Cologne, together they bring urban sounds with modern rap to the stage. Bitschu Batschu comes with techno/trance from Vienna and VAVUNETTHA with super danceable hip-hop-pop beats. In case you need some air in between: As always, you'll find the COSMO DJ Stage at our huge market along Venloer Straße - with guaranteed good sound.

Forever Fresh” project - apply now!

Forever Fresh” project - apply now!

Sounds crazy, but on closer inspection it makes sense. With our new project “Forever Fresh”, we want to set an example against ageism and strengthen the visibility of senior women in pop culture. The idea: we teach senior women aged 70 and over DJ skills and give them a slot at the upcoming c/o pop! Experienced instructors will teach them how to mix and use DJ equipment and, if desired, train them in styling, performance and social media. Participation in the workshops is free of charge and starts at the beginning of 2025. Interested parties can register now by e-mail at pia.leonhardt@c-o-pop.de or by phone on 0221 998 91100.

Frisch geprüft: Unsere Gemeinwohl-Bilanz

Frisch geprüft: Unsere Gemeinwohl-Bilanz

Ever heard of the Economy for the Common Good? This is a global movement with an economic model based on an ethical economic culture. It deals with the climate crisis, the loss of biodiversity, the gap between rich and poor - roughly speaking: a sustainable economic system with the aim of finding a good balance between corporate success and social responsibility. We were one of the first festivals in Germany to have our common good balance sheet scrutinized as part of the Economy for the Common Good. Our aim is to promote social justice, sustainability and inclusion and to motivate others to do the same. You can find more information about the Economy for the Common Good here.

Solidarity tickets go on sale

In order to make pop culture a little more socially sustainable, we are now launching the sale of our Solidarity Tickets again. This gives people on a budget the chance to take part in c/o pop. Anyone who buys a day ticket will now receive the offer to buy another reduced ticket. We will set this aside for less well-off visitors. You need a reduced ticket? Then simply send us an email to ticket@c-o-pop.de!
